The eye is the window to our soul and if we lose an eye, then wearing an eye patch could represent a loss of sight which could result in a lack of understanding, or it may signify that you are feeling less confident.
When we are dreaming, anything goes. One such occurrence that has come up time and time again is the person wearing an eyepatch in a dream which signifies not understanding something with their dominant sense of sight taken away from them. There may also be something about themselves they cannot see because they have lost sight of it.
