We see a lot of denial in dreams. There are many that are afraid of success and many that are afraid of failure, but they all eventually come to terms with this. The successful deny their failures and the failures deny the successes – they fear what might happen if they own up to what they did.
When you refuse to do the right thing, there will be consequences. Some people try to escape the truth by dreaming that they are in denial. However, if they want to get better they should stop rejecting reality and start accepting their faults.
Dreaming about denial is a defense mechanism often regarded as a coping response to an unpleasant memory, unacceptable impulse or threatening reality.
Some people may live denial for significantly shorter periods or periodically to defend themselves from stress and anxiety. Some people manage the stress on their own, which signifies that denial has given them some perspective on a situation. Unfortunately, other people seem to spend so much time in denial that it becomes harmful and evolves into yet another self-destructive behavior that has far less potential for resolution than what could originally be offered by denial.
