Usually, when we look at the interpretation of disliking someone in dreams, we usually assume that secretly we like this person and dislike them because subconsciously we feel bad for liking them. However, it may also mean that you are guilty about being hypocritical with yourself. What it is internally making you feel bad that you say one thing but do another – even more reflectively than how it would make a stranger feel uncomfortable to be around you.
This could be related to contemplating about something you said to someone and wishing you could retract it. The other side of disliking someone in your dream is that their bad influence may present itself as your first impulse or aversion is taking over – a fear of giving into the inevitable manipulation. These concepts seem not often discussed.
Often the person who is disliked in the dream is ourselves, which can be unsettling when we develop feelings for a person in real life. They could represent our suppressed self, one we don’t feel nice about but might still have value. A disliked person in your nightmare may arise as a confrontation of our feelings that others are too perfect to be true.
